Rehab Lootah is the Group Deputy Chief Executive Officer at National Bonds. Lootah brings over 20 years of experience in the UAE’s finance and government sector to National Bonds Corporation. She plays a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing the company’s strategic initiatives, with a particular focus on developing innovative, Sharia-compliant investment and savings solutions that align with the financial goals of individuals and institutions across the UAE
With an impressive career spanning over two decades, Lootah has led multiple high-impact initiatives in the savings and investments domain. These include the award-winning ‘Sukuk Al Waqf’ humanitarian initiative, the ‘Second Salary’ program designed to help individuals generate supplementary income, and a growing suite of offerings aimed at expanding access to financial planning tools for all segments of society. Her commitment to financial literacy and future-focused saving is central to National Bonds’ mission of building a financially secure and inclusive UAE.
In addition to her role at National Bonds, Lootah is on the executive board for several key entities in the UAE including ‘Taaleem’, the UAE’s second largest school provider for early years, primary and secondary schools and the only education service provider publicaly listed in the Dubai Financial Market. She is also a board member of Watania Family Takaful, contributing to the development and oversight of insurance and life solutions in the UAE. and ‘Noqodi’, a UAE-based e-wallet that is dedicated towards e-payments for government and non-government services, ‘Dubai Quality Group’, a non-profit organization set up by the Dubai Economy. Through these roles, she supports the advancement of education, digital payments, quality excellence, and Shari’a-compliant financial protection in the country.

Rehab is also deeply committed to youth empowerment and financial education. She has launched and supported various initiatives to foster saving habits from an early age, including the Young Investor Program — the region’s first-ever structured financial education initiative for youth.
She is the first woman globally to earn the CIMA certification in Islamic Finance and has received several awards including the late His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Award. Also spearheaded both the ‘Tamaiaz Award’ and ‘Entrepreneurs Forum (EF)’.
A proud Emirati and mother of four, Lootah holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Stratford University. She remains committed to building a lasting impact through ethical finance, community empowerment, and inclusive economic growth.
